After a good Christmas and New Year the team were ready and played some good passing football. Adam Reade was causing difficulties with his usual strong runs down the left wing and soon slotted the ball in the back of the net to open the scoring. Saracens were kept on the back foot, but their defense worked hard to keep Abbeymead out for the rest of the first half.
Abbeymead started the second half well with Adam Reade picking up the ball in the box to drive home his second goal. Continued pressure from Abbeymead with strong runs from Alex Vye created many chances and Dan Lutman scored from a strong shot to finish the game.
