Abbeymead again started the first half well, with Oliver Pritchet making some forceful runs forward from centre midfield. However, Lakeside took the lead when a long shot caught Smith out in goal.
In the second half, Sam Benzie made some strong runs forward from defence, and Sam Kent doing the same from left midfield. Good defending from Benzie and Gittings kept Lakeside at bay, before Lakeside got two more goals, catching Abbeymead of guard. Abbeymead then went in search of a goal, when Lakeside broke away twice leaving Smith helpless. From the kick off, Ben Langworthy and Oliver Pritchet combined, before a pass to winger Matt Kent, and a good cross gave Ben Langworthy a well deserved and well taken goal. Then in the last minute, Langworthy put Matt Kent through to put away Abbeymead's second.
