Abbeymead started the match very positively and went close several times before a lovely move between Joe Wilton and Brodie Goddard-Jones set up Clayton Dee. Within minutes, Jamal Lawrence set up Dee for his second. Dee was now in inspired form and forced the keeper into a fine save before a quick throw from Wilton put Dee through for his hat-trick. Dee got his fourth with a strong run from half way - out pacing the defence and rounding the keeper. Wilton and Goddard-Jones were a constant threat and supplied Dee with plenty of good passes.
In the second half Coleford stepped up the pace and Abbeymead had to endure some robust challenges. Elliot Basford and Josh Cannon, in defence were called into action and George Hall, in goal saw some action. Elliot Obee combined well with Ben Langworthy to set up Dee for his fifth. Obee himself got number six and Jamal Lawrence finished off a strong run with good finish. Obee set up Dee for his sixth and Dee ended his contribution with a fabulous diving header from an Obee corner. Langworthy had a shot well saved before Lawrence wrapped up the scoring with his second and Abbeymead's tenth.
