Abbeymead started the game well, with McCauley Palmer, Matt Kent and Tom Betts playing well in midfield. Joe Taylor made some good runs and bringing him down was the only way of stopping him. Unfortunately, decisions weren't going Abbeymead's way, and we could have had a number of free kicks in dangerous positions. The score was 1 - 0 at the break, but having played well. Then Southside scored another, and then another soon after from strong running and passing. Then, in the last minute, a Southside corner which Sam Kent came for and missed, was turned in by Oliver Pritchet's arm in an attempt to clear it.
