A good start to the new season with a 5-0 victory, particularly pleasing since we had done next to no training and have had several players leave for other clubs.
The quality of football was very good at times particularly in the second half when all five goals were scored with two each for Greg Chamberlayne, in his first game as a striker, two for Sam Pritchard and a goal from full back for Tom MacKemsley.
Defensively the ' Mead were very sound with good performances all across the back line and keeper Alex Morris doing what little was required of him in his customary competent manner.
